Q. When is the Transfer Station open for dumping my garbage?

A. The Transfer Station is open from 8:30am to 5:30pm, seven days a week and is located at 2405 - 22nd Street North. Questions about the Transfer station should be directed to the Regional District of East Kootenay at (250) 489-2791.

Q. Are there water restrictions in Cranbrook?

A. Yes, there are restrictions on watering lawns and gardens. Check the Water Conservation page for more details. click here

Q. When is the cemetery open?

A. Cemetery hours are 9am-4pm from October 1st to March 31st and 9am to 9pm from April 1st to September 30th.

Q. What day will my garbage be picked up?

A. The City is on the “add-a-day” garbage pick-up plan, which means that the day of garbage pick-up changes each time there is a holiday. You can pick up a Garbage Collection Schedule at City Hall. Or click here to go to our Solid Waste Pick-up page.  click here
