Parks:

There 17 parks within the city limits maintained by the City of Cranbrook.


There are 4 Provincial Parks, ranging from 5 minutes to 30 minutes distance from the City.


There are 4 lakes within 30 minutes of the City.


Skateboarding and biking can be engaged in at Viking Youth Park


Golf Courses:


Cranbrook Golf Club: 18 holes, championship course, fully equipped Pro Shop, driving range, clubhouse facilities.


St. Eugene Resort: 18 holes, championship course, fully equipped Pro Shop, driving range, clubhouse facilities.  The resort also features a 4.5 star hotel, dining facilities, casino and Ktunaxa interpretive centre.


Mission Hills: 18 Holes, par 3, driving range, clubhouse facilities.


Bootleg Gap Golf Club:  27 holes -- 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive par 3 course fully equipped Pro Shop, driving range, clubhouse facilities, located in Kimberley (20 minutes from City).


Kimberley Golf Club: 18 holes, championship course, fully equipped Pro Shop, clubhouse facilities, driving range, located in Kimberley (20 minutes from City).

 

Trickle Creek Golf Club: 18 holes, championship course, fully equipped Pro Shop, clubhouse facilities, driving range, located in Kimberley (25 minutes from City).


Walyn Range: 9 holes, par 3, clubhouse facilities, 10 minutes from City.


Downhill Skiing, from 20 minutes to 3 hours from Cranbrook: Kimberley; Fairmont; Fernie; Panorama; Big Mountain; Schweitzer; Banff; Red Mountain; White Water


Cross Country Skiing: 30 km set trails at South Star near Cranbrook; 26 km set trails in Kimberley

 

Arenas: Cranbrook Memorial Arena and Kinsmen Arena.


Curling: Cranbrook Curling Club.


Swimming: Multi-purpose Recreation Complex, includes an Olympic-sized swimming pool, wave pool and water slide.


Playgrounds/Sports Fields: 16 locations, 8 in City parks, and 8 on school fields. There are also numerous other facilities, such as softball/baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, tennis courts, track and field facilities, etc.
