To reduce the potential for transmission of the COVID-19 infection, all City of Cranbrook offices and facilities are currently closed to the public and all face-to-face counter services suspended effective Thursday March 19, 2020 until further notice. This closure includes City Hall, Building and Bylaw Services, Public Works, the Cranbrook Fire Hall, Western Financial Place, the aquatic centre, the Memorial and Kinsmen arenas and the Cranbrook Public Library.

As a result, Human Resources has made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the summer and term position recruitment campaigns. There will be limited internal and external postings made available.

We hope to have an update on our recruitment efforts before the end of April 2020.

We appreciate the community’s continued patience and understanding during this difficult time as we work together to ensure the well-being of everyone in our community.

Thank you,

Communications and Human Resources.
